Wilfrid Laurier International College is a pathway to gain entry into Wilfrid Laurier University, which is a recognized global leader in social entrepreneurship and innovation education. The college offers undergraduate pathways at different levels so that students are better prepared for a University education. The comprehensive programming at the university allows students to navigate and explore their personal journey to success. Education at the college is provided at two levels in various programs:
University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage I: This is an eight-month, pre-university program that is designed as a major bridge between secondary school and university-level education.
University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage II: This is the first-year university program that is designed to support the transition to study in Canada. After successful completion of the UTP II, one can progress to second-year studies at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Qualified staff and student peer mentors guide students in the best possible manner for academic growth.
Students can choose either on-campus or off-campus options. On-campus accommodation in Brantford can be chosen as the apartment-style residences that are within walking distance of the school building. The on-campus residences at Laurier are Expositor Place, Grand River Hall, Lucy Marco Place, Post House, and Wilkis House. All these residences have the best of resources that are needed by students to feel comfortable when staying away from their homes.
Wilfrid Laurier International College is located on the Brantford Campus of Wilfrid Laurier University. All the buildings at the campus are interwoven into the downtown core, which makes it easy for the students to stay close to their classrooms, residence and other amenities. Situated in Southern Ontario, Brantford is just an hour’s drive from Toronto, London, and St. Catharines and is one of Canada’s top communities for international students as it has varied and growing job markets and lower living costs than other major cities.
